Trainer Julie Walsh shares her success story after another tremendous campaign at the Landor Races, winning the Leading Racehorse 2018 title.

Dear Milne:

Thank you for sponsoring the Landor Races Leading Racehorse in 2018, and I’m happy to say that we won the prize with the grittiest, narkiest, and gutsiest little horse in the world. Over the weekend, Rodinia (the meaning of which is taken from the Old World name for the continent that broke away and became Australia) surprised us all; she won all three of her races over the weekend! I have attached some photos which show her as a picture of health. Rodinia was 100% powered by Milne Feed’s Horse Muesli!

Your sponsorship has been so effective! The Leading Horse prize is always hotly vied for, as the Milne Feed Voucher gives us the choice on how to use it. Pastoralists and station owners in the region really appreciate Milne’s support of the remote farmers.  Events such as the Landor Races are a vital part of the social calendar for these remote areas. Past station people have used it to import cattle feed to Leinster and Meekatharra, we have used it on Sheep Pellets in the past, and recently we’ve used it to purchase the Milne’s Horse Muesli that we use each year to power our team of horses. The horses do far better on the Milne’s Muesli than they’ve ever done. I wish there was a way I could convince more people of that!

Anyway – thank you so much for your valuable contribution to a unique and unbelievably fun weekend at the Landor Races. You are valued, and your sponsorship is recognised and deeply appreciated. Rodinia not only enjoys the feed, but looks great in her prize Milne Feeds winner’s rug!
