TOBA to Offer Clinic on Pedigrees and Conformation

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) will offer a Pedigree and Conformation Clinic on October 7 and 8 in Lexington, Kentucky.
This clinic allows participants to develop a deeper understanding of the Thoroughbred pedigree and conformation. Pedigree discussions include general theory such as in-breeding, out-crossing, and nicking as well as overall conformational factors. Various differing pedigree theories will be examined and discussed. Conformation workshops will include the identification of common conformation faults and the effects of those faults on performance, as well as a live conformation workshop.
The two-day clinic will also include tours of local horse farms.
