Alexis is originally from Southern California, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from University of California, Davis, and her master’s degree in animal science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Alexis moved to Kentucky from California in 2022 with her cat and has been experiencing and enjoying all that the Bluegrass state has to offer. She is joining Kentucky Equine Research as a nutrition advisor, using her nutrition knowledge to help customers (and their horses!) with ration evaluations and product advice.
