With many events in Australia currently on hold, eventing riders are taking to dressage and show jumping events. Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored riders Megan Jones and Jaimie Stitchel recently competed at the South Australian Jumping Championships.

Megan Jones of Woodside, South Australia, took two horses to the competition, Bloomfield Vanderee and RLE Barina. “I had a small but successful show with two classes for two wins on Friday,” commented Megan.

In the first round of the Diamond Series, Bloomfield Vanderee had no jumping or time penalties to take home the win.

RLE Barina, a horse that currently competes at the four-star level, performed well in the Open 1.25 class, collecting the win. “All of the horses are looking and feeling amazing at the moment. RLE Barina has had a very successful change in attitude since starting on the KERx Sucralox earlier this year.”

Megan relies on B-Quiet®, EO-3™, Equi-Jewel®, EquiShure®, Hemabuild®, Nano-E®, Preserve®, and Restore® Powder and Paste to provide science-based nutritional support to her top-level horses.

Jaimie Stitchel of Charleston, South Australia, took her eventing horses New World Rolls Royce and Minx GHP to the competition and came home smiling.

New World Rolls Royce (Rolly) is currently eventing at the three-star level, but took to the pure show jumping well, earning a third place in the Open 1.15 and fourth place in the Open 1.20.

“I had Rolly’s diet reviewed earlier in the year, and he’s felt stronger and more energised since then,” noted Jaimie.

Both Minx GHP (Mouse) and Rolly competed in the Speed Championship, with both taking home ribbons: third place for Mouse and fourth place for Rolly. Mouse also finished in second place in the Open 1.05.

Jaimie uses EquiShure®, EO-3™, Perform®, Neigh-Lox®, and Restore® Paste.
