Sponsored Eventers Earn Bouquet of Ribbons on Valentine’s Day

Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored eventers Liz Halliday-Sharp, Buck Davidson, and Dom and Jimmie Schramm left the Ocala Winter 1 Horse Trials with enough ribbons to make a special Valentine’s bouquet.
Liz Halliday-Sharp finished third in the Advanced Combined test with her upper-level partner Deniro Z and fifth with Cooley Quicksilver. She also rode Cooley HHS Calmaria to a sixth-place finish in the Open Intermediate A. “Cooley HHS Calmaria just jumped double clear in her first Intermediate! Love this spicy girl, and she has the makings of a champion for sure!” Liz said in a Facebook post from the event.
Liz relies on Bio-Bloom™ PS to keep her horses looking their best. “We’ve used Bio‑Bloom PS for years,” she said. “We give it to the youngest horses on the farm all the way up to the advanced horses. It’s essential for hoof growth and healthy skin. It makes the horses look and feel so much better.”
Liz also uses EO-3™, EquiShure®, Nano-Q10™, Restore® SR, RiteTrac®, and Synovate HA® to give her horses targeted nutritional support for optimal performance.
Buck Davidson finished fifth in the Open Intermediate Jackpot with Cerafino D and second in Preliminary Horse B with Citigirl.
Buck relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds to supply nutrition that ensures his horses perform their best. “KER has always been the authority on feeding high-performance sport horses,” Buck said. “I’ve always relied on KER-formulated feeds.”
Husband and wife duo Dom and Jimmie Schramm celebrated the sweet holiday with Jimmie and her mare Eclaire placing third in the Open Preliminary 1-Day B.
Schramm Equestrian uses diets formulated by the experts at Kentucky Equine Research to provide their horses with optimal nutrition. They count on Bio-Bloom™ PS, Micro-Max™, Nano-E®, Restore® SR, Synovate HA®, and KER-formulated Legends® Feeds.
“We’ve seen a better result from Bio-Bloom PS than anything else we’ve ever tried. We go south to Florida for the winter, and a lot of horses will get fungus or hives, but our horses just don’t get it,” said Jimmie. “Their coats grow back in beautifully from winter to summer.”
