Race Recovery Helps Conklin Score Barrel Racing Victories

Barrel racer Mikayla Conklin, sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research, earned top placings at the No Bull Barrel Racing Show in White Pine, Tennessee, with her horses Flipper Ta Fame (Flipper) and Bloodymaryinatincan (Mary).

Mikayla and Flipper finished second in the 1D division of the Saturday Open and their time rolled over into the Saturday World Barrel Racing League (WBRL) Sidepot round, where they earned second place. On Sunday, the pair won the 1D division of the Open, as well as the WBRL Sidepot. Flipper also won the 1D Open Average title for the weekend.

With Mary, Mikayla earned second place in the 2D division of the Sunday Open and won the 2D division of the Sunday WBRL Sidepot. Mary earned third place in the 2D Open Average for the weekend.
