Amanda Ross, an eventer sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research, joined the Australia Equestrian Team contingent to spectate the Ready Steady Tokyo test event for the 2020 Olympic Games. In addition to cheering on fellow Aussie, Andrew Hoy, Amanda toured the Equestrian Olympic facilities, cross-country course, and visited with the Australian Ambassador to Japan at the Australian Embassy.

“I can best describe my experience at the test event as an Olympic Eventing Conference! Our Aussie team schedule was chockablock full of team meetings, workshops, venue tours with logistical planning, lectures from the Olympic vets, organizers, horse transport team, event timetabling, weather experts… no stone has been left unturned! At the end of each day, our team even created a pros and cons list of our experiences, all of which are documented and planned for action,” Amanda recounted in a Facebook post about her trip.

Amanda was named to the Equestrian Australia National High Performance Green Squad following an impressive year in 2018. She also won the CCI4*-S at the 2019 Australian Eventing Championships at Wandin Park in March.

Amanda chooses to supplement her horses with Restore, EquiShure™, EO-3™, and Synovate HA®.

“When stress levels rise, feed isn’t always eaten or digested as well as it needs to be,” explains Amanda. “EquiShure is one of the best products to ensure all of my feeding and management efforts aren’t wasted, and it makes the horses feel so much better!”
