Kentucky Equine Research Internship Insider: Layla Gray

Former Kentucky Equine Research intern Layla Gray explains what she enjoyed about her time with the company and gives some tips for aspiring interns.

Layla is a graduate of Tuskegee University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal, poultry, and veterinary science. She decided to join the Kentucky Equine Research internship program after graduation to turn her lifelong passion for horses into a career. After a year spent gaining valuable lab experience and horse-handling skills, Layla is headed to graduate school at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
