Kaylee Gallino Back on Top at Northcrest

Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer Kaylee Gallino came back from quarantine with a vengeance, taking first and second place in Round 2 of the Buckle Series at Northcrest with JC Baldy Frost (Buckwheat) and WQ Bar Socks (Fever).
Buckwheat ran the barrels in 15.891 seconds to take the top spot, but Fever was close on his heels with a time of 15.926 seconds. The Buckle Series at Northcrest is held at Northcrest Equestrian Training Complex in Cleburne, Texas.
Kaylee uses Race Recovery™ to ensure the quickest recovery possible and overall best performance. Race Recovery is an electrolyte formulated specifically for horses given furosemide (Lasix®). Race Recovery replenishes electrolytes lost in both urine and sweat for complete physiological recovery.
“Bob has been running on Lasix for a few years, and it felt like he was getting really lethargic,” said Kaylee. “Almost like he was getting bored with running barrels, but I knew that wasn’t him. I decided to try Race Recovery. In 2018, he went all year and never felt lethargic. His recovery time between runs decreased and he stayed fit.”
Kaylee also uses KER Targeted Nutrition products Bio-Bloom™ PS, EO-3™, Nano-Q10™, and Triacton®. Learn more about KER’s research-proven products here.
