Getting to Know Our European Riders: ALIZÉE ROUSSEL
I started riding ponies before I even knew how to walk and passed my first gallop before I even knew how to read and write! Horses and riding quickly became my passion.
After finishing secondary school and winning numerous national pony dressage titles, I got the chance to join the Haras de Hus team alongside Jessica Michel.
This is where I made the decision to dedicate my life to horses! Four years later, with a huge experience in my pocket – producing many young horses – I decided to continue my training at the stables of Chapuis Park in Pamfou, with Isabelle Judet where I stayed for two years.
It gave me the chance to participate in all in the classic and small tour show and events.
Thriving always for new experiences I packed my bags and left for Thirsty for new things, Paul Schockemöle in Germany where I was responsible for a small picket of young talented horses. Two of them were presented at the prestigious PSI sales in 2014.
In 2015 I set up my own yard where I am in charge, ride and produce 15 horses ranging, from 3 year olds to Grand Prix Horses.
My love for horses, competition, desire to evolve and share my knowledge is what guides me through my life.
Obtaining a horse’s confidence, feeling its strength, energy at the simple movement of a leg is the goal of each of my days, spent at their sides.
