Dona Kay Rule and High Valor finished second in the finals of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, which took place February 10-26 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

After winning her qualifying round early in the week, Dona Kay and Valor earned second place in the semifinals, handily earning the pair a place in the finals. In the finals, they scored a second-place finished with a time of 14.00.

With a rich history, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is a showcase event of the season for rodeo competitors. The rodeo was first recognized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 1950.

Twelve-year-old Quarter Horse High Valor is a two-time AQHA/WPRA Barrel Racing Horse of the Year.
