Alex Simpson Kicks Off the New Year at the NBHA District 15 Races

In Clovis, California, the barrel racing season is already starting to heat up! Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored rider Alex Simpson competed with several of her horses at the NBHA District 15 races at Double S Horse Ranch held January 16.
Simpson and her mare, Cruisinforthecash, ran a time of 15.7 and won both open races. She also competed with Cashydashdown to put in a time of 15.8, earning a second-place finish in the 1D. Simpson rode Dashinwithjones in the mare’s first race after a long rehab. She commented on her Facebook page, “To top it off, my mare Dashinwithjones made her debut after a very long rehab and smoked a 15.5, though tipped her first for a no-time, but she definitely came to make a statement.”
Simpson uses Bio-Bloom™ PS and EO-3™ to keep her horses looking their best.
“Bio-Bloom and EO-3 make my horses’ coats look amazing,” she said. “I constantly get asked what I feed because they are so shiny and just healthy-looking. I had an up-and-coming mare that was suffering from bad feet. I dealt with abscess after abscess and bruising if she went barefoot. Since starting the Bio-Bloom PS, I have not had an abscess with her and she currently runs barefoot.”
She also feeds Nano-E® and Total Wellness™ from KER Targeted Nutrition.
