Buck Davidson and Schramm Equestrian Score Wins at Ocala Winter Horse Trials

With three division wins and other top placings, several eventers sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research shined brightly at the Ocala Winter Horse Trials I, held February 10-13 at the Florida Horse Park.
Buck Davidson claimed victory in two divisions. In the Open Preliminary Jackpot, Buck and Victor BZ bested a 14-horse field with three points standing between him and the second-place finisher. The pair was tied for fourth after dressage with a score of 21.8 but then scored clean cross-country and stadium rounds to clinch the win. He also won the Preliminary Horse division with Stracathro Solitary Minstral in a similar scenario. The pair stood fifth after dressage and then went double clean in the remaining phases.
Buck relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds to supply nutrition that ensures his horses perform their best. “KER has always been the authority on feeding high-performance sport horses,” Buck said. “I’ve always relied on KER-formulated feeds.”
Schramm Equestrian also had an outstanding showing at the competition. Riding Castletown Cooley, Jimmie Schramm won the Open Novice A division, while husband Dom Schramm earned second placed with Dawn Breaker in the Open Training-One Day A division.
The team at Schramm Equestrian choose diets formulated by the experts at Kentucky Equine Research to ensure their competition horses are receiving everything they need from their diets. They count on Bio-Bloom™ PS, Micro-Max™, Nano-E®, Restore® SR, Synovate HA®, and Legends® Feeds, which are fortified with KER Micronutrients, to keep their horses in top shape.
