Mikayla Juett Is Back in the Saddle for the Ghosts, Goblins, and Barrels Event

At the Ghosts, Goblins, and Barrels event held October 22-24, in Danville, Indiana, Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer Mikayla Juett enjoyed a successful weekend aboard her palomino mare, Nelly.

Mikayla competed Friday evening in several classes, placing 5th in the 2D, 10th overall in the Open, and 6th in the Adult. On Saturday and Sunday, she kept up the momentum with two consistent runs of 16.5 seconds, leading to another placing in the 2D and one hole out of the 2D average. On her Facebook page, Mikayla commented, “Nelly had a great weekend running strong and consistent all weekend out of around 300 head.”
