Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored riders made the most of the extra daylight provided by the first official day of summer, earning wins across western North America from British Columbia, Canada, down to Pleasant Grove, Utah.

“It was last minute but turned out to be the perfect timing at the perfect venue!” said Ashley Moore of the High Point Equestrian Club Dash of Class dressage show in Langley, British Columbia. Ashley had a stellar weekend with her upper-level horses, scoring 69.46% on her Grand Prix test with Johnny to win the FEI Test of Choice Open class. She also scored a 63.09% on her Prix St. Georges test with Interdale.

“Kentucky Equine Research has completely changed my horses’ coats, especially Johnny’s. He constantly had dandruff, allergy bumps, a dull, greyish hue, and significant itching. He had even rubbed his mane and tail raw,” Ashley said. She started him on Bio-Bloom™ PS and EO-3™ to address his skin issues and maximize coat quality. “His coat instantly became shiny, full of dapples, velvety black and dandruff-free with zero bumps or itchiness. His mane and tail have never been thicker!”

To the south, barrel racer Dona Kay Rule and her horse Valor were on fire, picking up wins in Delta, Utah, and Pleasant Grove, Utah, as they continue their busy summer campaign across the western United States.

Dona Kay relies on Race Recovery™ from KER Targeted Nutrition to keep Valor feeling his best while competing. “It’s really good for those of us that don’t have 20 days between races,” she said. “It’s made a huge difference in this horse this year. Last year, we had a lot of thinness and unthriftiness, but he’s happy and healthy this year.” She also feeds Nano-Q10™ to help Valor recover from strenuous work.

Also on the road competing, was Kelley Carrington French. She and Slice Of Peachfame had speedy trips around the barrels during the preliminary rounds of the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West,” the Reno Rodeo, in Reno, Nevada. Kelley feeds her horses KER RE-LEVE®. “I attribute much of this success to the switch to KER RE-LEVE. This feed has allowed my horses to compete at an intense level and schedule without experiencing any more tying-up episodes,” she said.

Kelley also uses Nano-E®, a unique, rapidly bioavailable source of natural-source vitamin E that is a vital antioxidant for muscle health, and Restore® SR, an electrolyte with a proprietary slow-release mechanism that allows sodium to be released gradually into the gastrointestinal tract for sustained absorption.
