Top-Three Finish for Carrington French at National Circuit Finals Rodeo

Kelley Carrington French, a Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer, finished third in the final round of the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo with her mare, Slice of Peachfame.
Held each year at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, the RAM NCFR invites the champions from each of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s twelve circuits as well as the year-end winners from each circuit to compete in the RAM NCFR championships. Kelley and Slice qualified for the event by winning the 2020 WPRA Southeastern Circuit Year-End Championship in January of 2021.
The qualified contestants compete in two rounds of competition, with the top eight moving on to the semifinals. With times of 14.92 and 15.14 seconds, Kelley and Slice split third and fourth place in the average and moved on to the semifinals. From the semifinals, the top four rides advanced to the final round. With a speedy 14.88-second ride, Kelley and Slice finished second in the semifinals and easily made their way to the final. In the sudden-death final, Kelley and Slice rode a 15.07 second pattern, earning third place for the national championship event.
Kelley feeds her horses KER RE-LEVE®. “I attribute much of this success to the switch to KER RE-LEVE. This feed has allowed my horses to compete at an intense level and schedule without experiencing any more tying-up episodes,” she said. Kelley also uses Nano-E®, a unique, rapidly bioavailable source of natural-source vitamin E that is a vital antioxidant for muscle health, and Restore® SR, an electrolyte with a proprietary slow-release mechanism that allows sodium to be released gradually into the gastrointestinal tract for sustained absorption.
