A Fantastic Fall for Anna Loschiavo

“We’ve had a phenomenal end to the season with all of our horses from the young to the upper-level horses!” said Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored eventer, Anna Loschiavo, in a recent Facebook post.
Upper-level horses Spartacus Q and Prince Renan both completed the CCI4*-S at Great Meadow International and Plantation Field International. “I had a great end of season with Spartacus Q and Prince Renan, as we all gained valuable experience this year at the 4* level. Prince Renan put in two more clear CCI4* cross-country rounds with a highlight of finishing seventh at Great Meadow International in August. Spartacus continues to excel and learn at the 4* level, and we worked through a few things this fall. I’m excited to keep moving ahead with him in 2020 and keep producing more competitive results, as I believe he will be a top competitor at the level,” she said.
Anna’s other horses also made significant progress this fall. Fernhill Turbo earned a personal best dressage score of 31.7 and stablemate Fernhill That Guy Jack won the Preliminary at the Green Mountain Horse Association Horse Trials. Fernhill Holeshot made his debut at the Preliminary level, winning the division at the Hitching Post Farm Horse Trials.
With the fall season coming to a close, Anna will head to Florida with her horses for the winter. “We’re looking forward to a fun-filled winter season in Florida!” she said.
Anna uses the KER ClockIt™ app to track her horses’ fitness and fine-tune her feel for their speed, strength, and endurance. In addition to the app, Anna also uses new Nano-Q10™ to help her horse bounce back after strenuous work. Nano-Q10 is a highly bioavailable form of coenzyme Q10, a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from the damaging effects of free radicals and energizes other antioxidants in the body, like vitamins C and E.
