Successful Weekend for Sponsored Barrel Racers

Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racers Kelley Carrington French and Mikayla Conklin recently earned top placings at barrel races in Georgia and Oklahoma.
Kelley Carrington French finished first in the 1D at the WBRL Rockin A Jackpot May 3 in Pavo, Georgia. Kelley and Jazzing Dreamer ran a 14.988 under the lights Friday night to finish 0.257 seconds faster than the rest of the field. “Jazzing Dreamer made a very nice run at Rocking A Arena last night. This big guy has been a blessing,” Kelley said in a Facebook post.
Kelley feeds KER RE-LEVE®. “I attribute much of this success to the switch to KER RE-LEVE. This feed has allowed my horses to compete at an intense level and schedule without experiencing any more tying-up episodes,” she said. Kelley also uses Nano-E®, a unique, rapidly bioavailable source of natural-source vitamin E that is a vital antioxidant for muscle health.
Mikayla Conklin headed west to run the Better Barrel Races World Finals in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mikayla and Flipper Ta Flame competed against 1,600 entries to finish in the “Fast Fifty” at the finals. Mikayla and Bloodmaryinatincan qualified for the finals as well during Mary’s second weekend back after a six-month break.
Mikayla relies on KER products Race Recovery™, EO-3™, RiteTrac™, and Synovate® HA to give her horses the support they need to perform at high levels of competition. “My horses travel and compete comfortably on RiteTrac,” Mikayla explained. “It neutralizes stomach acid and works to help protect them against gastric ulcers.”
