Sponsored Eventers Named to Australian National Eventing Squads

In the lead-up to the World Equestrian Games (WEG) and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, two eventers sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research were named to the Australian National Eventing Squads.
Megan Jones, a silver medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, was named to the Green squad for athletes that have achieved recent results at the CCI3* level or above and that demonstrate capability of winning a medal at an international event.
“I am very excited to be named on the Green squad and to get one step closer to being selected on the WEG team.” She added, “I’m so proud of my mare Kirby Park Impress, and all of her owners are very excited.”
Megan relies on KER B-Quiet, EO•3, Equi-Jewel, EquiShure, Hemabuild, Nano•E, Preserve, and Restore powder and paste to provide optimal nutrition for her horses so they look and feel their best.
“I want my horses to have the best chance to feel comfortable and to be able to give 100% in their work, so their joints need to feel good as well,” explained Megan. “EO•3 is proven to help reduce inflammation. My vet recommended it to me.”
Amanda Ross was named to the Generation Next squad for athletes that have not recently represented Australia at the WEG or Olympics but have proven themselves as emerging talents with results at the CCI2* level or above.
Amanda relies on KER Equi-Jewel, Restore, EquiShure, EO•3, and Synovate HA.
“My horses are endurance athletes, so I need a fat-based fuel for them. Equi-Jewel has helped to create and maintain excellent usable condition, not just a fat belly,” explained Amanda. “It’s a staple for my horses because they work hard, and I never have eventers that are too fat!”
